Episode 9: Turning Limitations into Strengths
Cathy and Taylor delve deeper into becoming charactered and discuss wake-up calls, coming to terms with limitations, and the importance of becoming “legitimate.” They explain the process of adding dimensions to your personality buy utilizing the strengths of other colors.
Exercise: Choose 1-3 negative traits that prevent you from living life abundantly. Then, choose the one limitation that you feel is most damaging. Go to another color and chose a strength (in one word) that you feel is the antidote to this limitation. Make that word your mantra. Focus on it as you go through the day. (For example, “acceptance” may be the mantra of someone whose limitation is being critical.)
